At Manassas Battlefield Park, 🤖 starts 45 minutes early for the "Ran It with Janet 50k" while #1 Son 🔧 patrols the start/finish area and takes race pics. Saturday sunrise brings cool air, grass heavy with dew, millipedes marching in force, and lovely glowing flowers. A few course markings need tweaks; most are perfect. Fast runners begin to pass at mile 5. The left knee feels ok, but it seems wisest to stop after one circuit of the three-loop race. Maybe another year!?
